We recently lost the use of a venue we had been using for years in Manchester. We’ve tried several options since then and were starting to give up hope that we could find somewhere in the city to meet our needs. So many venues have either frustrated us with poor communication or provided an on-the-day service that was below the standard of what was agreed. Our experience at the St Thomas Centre could not have been more different – the venue was set up exactly as we’d asked and offered the big, open-plan space that we were looking for. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, including reception and catering staff. The technology worked perfectly and all the detailed information provided meant I didn’t have to ask loads of questions. I almost came away wondering how other venues get the basics wrong, but I know that it is about attention to detail, and in this respect we were really well looked after. Not only that, but the St Thomas Centre was actually cheaper than all the other venues we have tried recently. I think we have found our new ‘home’ for Manchester events.
